Summer Recreation Activities 2012
Friday is Activity Day
Below is a listing of the events for each Friday
June 8th – Sleepy Hollow
June 15th- Pump it up (waiver needed)
June 22- Broken Arrow pond (waiver needed)
July 20- Movie “Ice Age 4”
July 27- Roller Skating
Watch the Carlisle Citizen or call city Hall for weekly
information regarding specific location, cost of each activity,
the time of bus departure and return
Let’s
go Bowling
On Wednesdays we will take trips to Premier Bowling in Pleasant
Hill. The bus will leave the Hartford at 12:30, Carlisle High
School at 12:40pm and Easter Lake 12:50. We will bowl two games
at a cost of $5.00, including shoes and transportation. Then
return to Easter Lake about 2:50, Carlisle at approximately 3:00
pm and Hartford at 3:10. The age limit is 7 and up.
Bowling Dates: June 6 - June 13 - June 20 - July 18
- July 25 - Aug 1
Open
Gym Twice a Week
The Middle School Gym will be open Tuesday and Thursday from
6:00 to 8:00 p.m. starting Tuesday, June 5th- Tuesday
July 31th. A responsible adult should accompany anyone under
the age of 10. If you have questions, feel free to ask Adam
Pickering for assistance.
Story
Hour at the Library
Kathy Spratt and Marilyn Goodhue will be conducting story hour
every Monday from June 25–July23rd. The session will be held
from 10:30 to 11:00 at the public library. Preschool and up are
welcome.
4th
of July Games
Summer Recreation Games will be held on the 4th of
July at North Park. A variety of activities are scheduled for
all ages including a balloon toss and a bubble gum-blowing
contest. We encourage everyone to come and join in the fun.
